We were visiting Brooklyn New York, and wanted a tasty place to go for brunch!

Baby is used to getting breakfast sandwiches from the bodega or a little breakfast Café. But the breakfast Café has a New Management and we wanted to try something different… we attempted brunching like we do in DC but New York style because -I hear food is so delicious in New York! I started looking up restaurants near me and found a few places. One of which was a ViaRoma. So we decided to take the subway at walk there and try it out!

Mr Handsome with the ambience

When we arrived, there was a 45 minute wait so we went for a little walk around the area and checked out a crown heights café nearby ! [The café was so adorable… I got a huge donut, and we both got a cup of coffee but we didn’t want to eat too much to leave some room for lunch, because we were going to get mimosas and food at Via Roma!]

We were very excited for what was to come. Brunch is Saturday- Sunday, 11am – 4pm!

Bellini

Once they sent us a text message we walked back over to ViaRoma and prepare to dine. We were seated at a cute little cozy table with. The ambience is beautiful. There’s so many cute decorations in this little semi hidden restaurant. The staff was very friendly and continue to keep our glasses full. They had a few different flavors of Mimosa, and a lot of delicious entrées to choose from. We ended up staying there for the Max brunch time (~90mins), enjoying our food and drinks, and chatting with the table next to us!

Making friends

For drinks Babe and I mixed the Bottomless Pina Mimosa and the bottomless Bellini ($19 pp).

For food I got the Chicken Sausage Skillet and babe got the Eggs Copenhagen. We’re both really enjoyed our dish. The salads were dressed perfectly. I really liked the chicken sausage – it was so juicy and delicious. And the eggs were beautifully soft scrambled with cheese. I had so much food that I ended up giving about half of it too babe so the portion sizes were good. The service were very attentive and thoroughly knew the definition of bottomless… They did a superb job of keeping our glasses full especially Ashanth. She always came around with a smile and asked if we needed anything at all.

100% recommend checking them out ! Check out their brunch menu here!!
