We enjoyed horseback riding at Foxfire Farm! We experienced such an awesome collaboration between Janemark Winery and Foxfire Farm (a horseback riding tour and wine tasting). If you want more info on Janemark Winery you can read that post here!

This is a snippet of the Horseback riding at Foxfire Farm! It was absolutely amazing… My horse Heckity “Hector” was strong willed and such a beautiful spirit!!
Heckity liked to drift off from the group but the trainers knew that and gave me fair warning ⚠️! It’s been a while since I’ve done horseback riding so I lost my touch haha! Alice helped me to reel Heckity back in to follow the group… thank gosh because I don’t know where we would’ve ended up haha. He was ready to go home and relax!

Babe’s horse Ben was gorgeous and powerful. Ben was an older horse, about 12 years old and kept up great with the group. He really showed this strength riding up hill!

We walked in a single file line through a meadow, through the forest, and through some farmland. We had nice picturesque sites, and a peaceful Journey. It was a perfect pace great for the horseback riding beginner, and a relaxing pace for the seasoned rider. We rode in a group of six plus A trainer in the front (Alexis) and a trainer in the back (Alice), to allow for an intimate setting and all of the horses were absolutely great!

Special thanks to trainers Alice, Alexis, and Ashley (manager of booking setup and communications prior to the ride) for making sure we were safe and having a wonderful time on the trail! You can tell they enjoy what they do and absolutely love and care for these beautiful creatures !!
