This cruise was a lot of fun… The sites were beautiful and the lights made it magical -so lit up at night!! There was a cash bar with $3 margaritas with a nice pouring hand and you could sell the night away.

We were a Little nervous because we don’t normally drive to DC and wanted to find parking and have time to get to the dock before the boat set sail… But lucky for us we found reasonably priced parking at “canal parking garage” … Made our way to the dock which was just a short walk and boarded the boat.

Logan (a tour organizer) was super helpful in trying to navigate us to the dock, but it it pretty straightforward – I didn’t want a chance it though since we were cutting it close!
Once on board we grabbed seats in the front of the boat… I stood outside to take a few photos as we set sail, and my boyfriend went inside to get margaritas.

I suggest waiting until after you set sail to get margaritas because the line is a bit long and you might miss one of the most beautiful parts which is takeoff as the sunsets!
It’s OK though the rest of the trip is so lovely you get to see all of the buildings lit up and the bridge if you like lights and shimmering beauties like I do it’s A nice treat.

We didn’t have a chance to see the cherry blossoms because it was too dark by the time we set sale however if you catch the cruise during a daytime sail, I’m pretty sure the cherry blossoms would be a beautiful sight!
Enjoy the margaritas because they do pour a nice free-flowing drink!! You get your moneys worth 🥂!! What a beautiful little lovely evening. Check out a short clip here!
